New Apps/Life tracker Tools

by jackiejmo on May 27, 2012

Are you using one of the new aps or lifestyle tracker tools yet? I admit to being behind with this type of technology – I’m still using my own journaling methods to track behaviors important to me. Yet, for many ADDers who enjoy tech tools, these things may be great for you. Often for much less than $100, you can have a nutritionist, personal trainer, and healthy behaviors tracker rolled into one slender device that you can put in your pocket, clip to your belt, or wear as a bracelet. If you’re already carrying a smart device like an iPhone, there are applications to help you monitor your eating, sleeping, and activity. These applications can track your steps taken, calories burned, and distance traveled. Some applications can even help you track how long and how well you slept. (That could be quite useful for those who have sleep issues.) You can log your food and get weight management tools to help you make healthy choices through the day. There’s an entire new generation of these tracking tools, and they’re only going to get better and easier to use.

We all need good reminder and accountability systems to support our health and wellness goals. It may take some time to find the right tracker tool for your needs, but it can really be worth it to have wearable motivation whenever you need it.
